Could not scan the storyboard for some reason, but here's the video!
Ah, the final submission for my 3DSFX, brings back memories even when I look at it now, I have indeed learned alot from this experience and I would not mind making other videos with special effects like this during my free time.
It was a joy carrying out this project as I had enjoyed a subject similar to this before during my course of study during Year 1.1, Motion and Sound, being more of a hands on kind of personal, I enjoy being in the out, filming scenes and adding effects to my films only made it all the more "cool" and enjoyable, this project would definitely be something I could show to my friends and family to showcase my skills in IT although I believe there is still much more improvements that can be made.
I was in charge of three different effects, namely the Energy Orb that the villain used which pushed back his foe, the smokey introduction, and the credits which showcased an insect crawling in my skin.
The energy orb/aura/thing took the longest time for me to complete as it took up the largest memory space amongst my other projects and it caused the computer to hang on me a couple of times. However, after much attempted I finally made it although I did not follow the whole tutorial throughout and made my own implementations to suit the effects for my film. I had to match the timing of the effect to allow it to blend with the timing whereby I got blown away from the impact of the aura.
The introduction was fairly simple as all I needed to do was to follow the tutorial provided online and add my own text, I believe that I could have done a better job on the introduction by perhaps making it more "large-scaled" by adding glows, explosions, or anything of that sort to allow the introduction to appear more grand. I felt that it was appropriate to add a smokey introduction as it would allow the introduction to appear more "mysterious" and hopefully allow the audience to look forward to the film more.
The face bug crawling on my face right after the introduction was something I did before on my project one and it was fairly simple and the changes i made include changing the path of the bug, and adding a couple more to allow it to look more realistic. It was also done to showcase my abilities as an IMI student. Which I feel that I did a pretty good job as I have asked for opinions from my fellow schoolmates and they all felt that it was rather realistic and well-done.
Overall, I believe that this subject has really aided me in my understanding of the program "Adobe Aftereffects". Learning this program was unlike the others I have learned during my course of study as this is more interactive and fun compared to coding. I will definitely continue to utilize these skills in my future endeavors of my life as a proud student of Temesek Polytechnic IIT school and perhaps be able to share my knowledge with my peers.

camera shake with wiggler
Sorry for the lousy quality video, will film with better lighting and camera next time!
Face Bug!
My Individual project, sorry for the late upload as I thought there was no need to include it in but to just submit to the lecturer.
This was rather fun and I felt quite fufiling after completing it, the video quality is bad though, will try to film a better quality one for my Final Project!
